Flashback Art Fair 2024

From 31 October until 3 November Floris van Wanroij Fine Art will exhibit part of its collection Old Master Paintings & Sculptures at Flashback Art Fair. This year the fair presents a program that focuses on the artistic, sociological, economic and scientific implications of the term “equilibrium”, in a historical moment that calls for deep reflections and new perspectives.

BRAFA 2023

We are very glad to exhibit our collection again at BRAFA in January 2023! Created in 1956, BRAFA is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious art fairs, famous for the high quality fine art, antiques, modern and contemporary art and design it offers. BRAFA stretches on 8 days at the end of January. The first major art event of the year, it is considered a reliable barometer of the art market. Originally founded in 1967 by the gallery owners Hein Stünke and Rudolf Zwirner as the ‘Kunstmarkt Köln ’67’, ART COLOGNE is today one of the most important international addresses for exceptional and high quality art. Around 200 leading international galleries from more than 20 countries come together annually and present a broad offering of art works. DAAF

In April 2021 a group of Dutch antique dealers have joined forces to organise a short and snappy online fair – The DAAF. We are pleased to join again this year. All participants are members of the Royal Dutch Fine Art & Antique Dealer Association (KVHOK), ensuring a high level of quality as well as a great diversity of objects. The nearly 50 participants are proud to truly represent the best of the Dutch fine art dealers in their varied fields. Each dealer will offer 21 pieces from his/her collection, so there will be nearly 1000 beautiful works of art all in one place. They will only be exclusively here on this site from Thursday, April 7 at 2 p.m., the fair will close on Sunday 10 April at 9 p.m (CET). Visitors do not need to register. The online fair will operate with users able to view objects in each dealers’ shop window and, when clicked, descriptions and additional photos will be available. Contact will be made directly with the dealers, who will be ready and available to answer questions and to talk to visitors live via email or telephone for the duration of the fair. We are pleased to support this initiative and hope to ‘meet’ you there!

DAAF

We are proud to join the DAAF, the first online Art and Antiques Fair by members of The Royal Dutch Association of Art and Antiques Dealers. A group of 48 members of the KVHOK have joined forces to launch an online fair, which opens on 9 April. The Dutch Antique Dealers Online Fair runs from April 9-11 and will feature exhibitors covering a range of areas within the art and antiques market. Each dealer will offer 21 pieces from their collection and the works will include Old Master paintings, prints, glassware, Russian icons, 20th-century design, fine jewellery and Asian art, as well as other fields for which the Dutch trade is well known.

The online fair will operate with users able to view objects in each dealers’ shop window and, when clicked, descriptions and additional photos will be available. Contact will be made directly with the dealers, who will be ready and available to answer questions and to talk to visitors live via email or telephone for the duration of the fair. The fair opens at thedaaf.com at 2pm on April 9. Visitors do not need to register. Every visitor who purchases an item on the opening day will receive a complimentary bottle of champagne, a nod to the usual refreshment served on opening days of physical fairs.

PAN Amsterdam in Perspectief

Normally, the 34th edition of PAN Amsterdam would start next weekend. Already in the spring, during the first corona wave, it was decided to move the fair for a year. Now the fair comes with the alternative scholarship program PAN in Perspectief that takes place from Wednesday 25 November to Sunday 29 November. More than 122 PAN participants open their doors throughout the Netherlands for a long weekend with an adapted program, of course taking into account the applicable covid measures. We look forward to welcome you, either on line or by appointment at our gallery in Dommelen!

ART BREDA

Enjoy art, antiques and design from the collections of famous art and antique dealers and galleries for contemporary art from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. All participants are selected by committees, who guarantee professionalism and quality. Prior to the opening of the fair, all objects will be examined by specialized vetting committees. In March 2014 we have the great honour of presenting part of our collection Old Master Paintings & Sculptures at TEFAF Showcases in Maastricht (14 – 23 March 2014). BRAFA ’13

BRAFA, the Brussels Antiques & Fine Arts Fair, is one of the longest running fairs in the world and is organized every year by the Belgian Antiques Fair association. Having grown from twenty Belgian antique dealers in 1955 to around one hundred and twenty participants from both Belgium and abroad, the last few years have seen the Antiques Fair become an international fair on a European scale.

The Antiques Fair works hard to increase the quality of the participants each year, but always with the aim of retaining its own individual character. As well as this internationalisation, over the years the fair has also embraced modern and contemporary art. The name “Belgian Antiques Fair” or “Foire des Antiquaires de Belgique” no longer reflects this development, and the fair was renamed BRAFA or Brussels Antiques & Fine Arts Fair in 2007. The Belgian Antiques Fair association was placed under the High Protection of Her Majesty the Queen on 30 September 2009.

ART & ANTIQUES FAIR ‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH

Floris van Wanroij Fine Art will exhibit a part of the collection at the Art & Antiques Fair ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The Art & Antiques Fair ’s-Hertogenbosch is the oldest art and antiques fair of the Netherlands and celebrates its 45 year anniversary this year. Over the years, the fair has become an important event that features various leading exhibitors from Belgium and Germany as well as from the Netherlands and attracts in the region of twenty-five thousand visitors. Yet it has retained the warm, intimate atmosphere that has characterized the Fair from the very beginning.

Eurantica 2011

From 25 March until  3 April, part of our collection will be on exhibition at Eurantica Brussels –fine art & antiques fair (in hall 5 of Brussels Expo). Known for its quality, eclectism and its contemporary character, Eurantica Brussels grew to be the largest fine art and antiques fair in Belgium. Like the last six years, the fair will present a high level of Antiques and Art, XXth Century Art & Archeology, from various international art dealers.
